Lawrence LaManna

Lawrence LaManna has been a wine salesman, manager, marketing director and winemaker in a career spanning nearly 30 years. He has worked for various wineries and distributors/importers throughout the East Coast. He is a graduate of Cornell University Hotel School; Harriet Lembeck’s Beverage Program and Graduate Program; and the Giesenheim Wine Course at the German Wine Academy.

In sales, he has worked in retail for 'Zachy's,' Scarsdale, NY and for 'Wine Connection,' Pound Ridge, NY.

Wineries: Glen Ellen winery, where he created the foundation for MG Vallejo Brand on the East Coast; Sebastiani; Sharpe Hill, Pomfret, CT – winemaker and vineyard development

Wholesalers: Lauber Imports, Company Manager, Summit Division, NY State; Tempranillo, Mamaroneck, NY; Martin Scott Wines, Lake Success, NY C. Daniele & Co, NYC. Created a brand called “Red Tail Red” as ‘Negociant Wine’ from the Red Mountain appellation in Columbia Valley Appellation in Washington State.
